Joan of Arc was a brave strong young woman. She lead an army and turned around the 100 year war in the 1400's. The fact that she was born to peasant farmers and was a woman makes this all the more miraculous. She was considered a saint in France. Our favorite Joan quote is: "COURAGE! Do not fall back!"
