Meet our By Brockton signature No.2 floating bezel engagement ring set a bright 1.22 carat purple unheated radiant cut natural sapphire. The low set floating bezel protects the gem from snags and bumps, while allowing another band to sit snuggly up beside. Made in a small Toronto workshop (not a factory).
What's cool about this stone is that it came out of the ground looking this good, which is less common for coloured sapphires. Approximately 85% of gem quality sapphires are heated or treated to enhance their colour and clarity. The heat dissolves certain natural inclusions that are found in sapphires naturally.
